Delicate Byzantine Chainmaille Necklace in 14K Gold Fill

Byzantine is one of the oldest chainmaille designs in history, thought to date back to 300 BC. This necklace was entirely handmade, starting as a straight piece of wire. The wire is coiled around a mandrel and sawed  down the edge into individual rings that are woven together. Strong enough for daily wear, this piece is also stunning to wear for special occasions.

Length is 19", other lengths available by request.
